We Are All Broken
Lately have done some serious self reflecting and I have realized that I am so broken. There are so many things about me that I am embarrassed about, there are many things that I feel pain over. I have been learning to bring to many of things to light through a program called Celebrate Recovery at Watermark Community Church in Dallas. I feel so much freer and have made some great friends.
When I look around, I see so many broken people, so many people longing for something more than all this selfishness and materialism, but they don’t know what it is.
Now, when a person says or does something rude or mean towards me, it doesn’t upset me so much. I’ve learned to realize that it’s their brokenness and inner pain showing itself.
Thank God I have photography, which has been a great outlet for me to express myself in ways I do not know how to verbalize, I am able to show people what I see and how I see them.
I am just a man, as broken as you are with my only hope in God.
