Engagement Photo Session at Castle Hills in Lewisville, Texas

Bridget and Lance got engaged and were excited to announce it to the world, so they hired me to be their Dallas engagement photographer.

When Bridget contacted me I was so happy to hear from her, we had gone to high school together. She told me how she had met Lance and had fallen in love with him. I was so excited for her. I was honored when she asked me to be their Dallas engagement photographer.

I asked her what kind of engagement photos they were wanting to take. She told me they were wanting photos that captured their fun loving and casual personalities. They also love their dog very much. She told me that for first part they just wanted me to take candid photos of them playing with their dog in the park. Afterwards they wanted to dress up and take some formal photos by friend’s pool.

We were so fortunate because the weather was perfect that day in Dallas. We went to the park and took lots of photos.

After some fun and candid photos in the park we headed over to her friend’s house for the formal pics. They got dressed up and we began a formal but still fun photo shoot. My focus was to always keep the photos looking natural and make sure their personalities shine in their engagement photos.

At the last location we went to a little park area that was next to a beautiful lake at the Castle Hills residential community. The sunset was gorgeous and I was able to capture a very nice sunset sillouette photo of them gazing sweetly into each other’s eyes.

Matthew did an amazing job with our wedding. Our phones are wonderful these days and they are able to capture the small moments in our lives – but having a pro for something like a wedding is crucial. We were so thankful to be in the professional hands of Matthew on our big day. The shots that he captured were truly special – and he did so with such ease and calmness. We absolutely recommend his services for any occasion.

Matthew did a wonderful job capturing photos with my fiancĂ©! They are so natural and beautiful. He has a great way of making you feel comfortable during the shoot — which comes through on the camera. He really captured some sweet unstaged & authentic moments. He has an amazing eye for composition and light. We will treasure our proposal and engagement photos for years to come.
