Corpus Christi, Padre Island, and the USS Lexington photos and drone video from my recent visit to Texas coast.
A few weeks ago I spent a weekend in Corpus Christi and on Padre Island. We had a great time since Mardi Gras was happening then as well. The best part about Mardi Gras there, is that it was right on the beach!
Our first day on Padre Island it was super foggy, I was able to get my drone up and take some really cool photos of the fog.
We then took a drive up to Corpus Christi to see the USS Lexington, which I was also able to capture with my drone. The aircraft carrier was massive and totally worth the visit.
The next day was beautiful, started off a bit foggy, but then cleared up during the parade and then had a beautiful sunset. While on Padre Island I flew my drone and captured this awesome photo of the neighborhood of homes that line the bay.
We then went to the beach and hung out othere till night, watched the beautiful sunset by the Bob Hall pier and had a little campfire on the beach. Whitecap Beach is a huge beach where people can drive up and down it and park to enjoy the scenery.
