While I lived in Cancun I liked making occasional trips up to Merida. It was such a large and beautiful colonial city. Being there felt like I went back in time in another era. I loved the architecture, the colors, the food, and all the art museums.

When my mom came to visit me in Cancun, I decided to take her up there for a day. I knew she would love it. We went on a cool bus tour around the city and saw more things I hadn’t seen before. We also took out time walking around downtown and did some shopping.
