Spontaneous portraits I made of other photographers during an Instameet in the colorful Knox/Henderson neighborhood In Dallas.
Some other awesome photographers I had been following on Instagram arranged an “Instameet.” Which is when a group of Instagram friends get together and do something they all enjoy. For this instameet, we all meet up in the Knox/Henderson neighborhood of Dallas. We then walked around there and took spontaneous portraits of each other.
It was a lot of fun and I got some really amazing photos of the cool people that were there. We spent a few hours walking around Knox/Henderson stopping at any location or wall that inspired us. We took all kinds of portraits of each other. I was really happy with how mine turned out. One of the cool things about shooting with other photographers was that they knew how to contribute to your vision or just let you experiment.
I have been to Knox/Henderson many times throughout the years. I never realized how cool and unique of a neighborhood it was. We mainly stayed on Henderson and explored every nook and cranny there that could turn into a really cool photograph.
I would have loved to share their Instagram handles. But unfortunately, I lost them all when I took a break from Instagram for a while.
