Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays because of all of the great food and the quality time I get to spend with my family.
Tomorrow is Thanksgiving Day, which is one of my favorite holidays. Mainly because of the great food and time with my family. It’s also a great time for taking holiday family portraits. From living many years of my life out in the countryside in East Texas I learned how to love the temperature and colors of Autumn. Each fall I find myself frequently looking to find how I can capture my love for the season in a photograph.
Here is a photo I took earlier this week just outside of Dallas, Texas in a small town called Wills Point. This is the town where I went to high school. I stopped on the side of the road and climbed over a barbed-wire fence. Then, I ran out into the pasture to get this photo. I walked around the pasture trying the find the best angle. Then I decided to lie down in the grass and shoot away. While on the ground I took the photo above. I’m happy with how the photo turned out, I hope you enjoy it as well.
The Beauty of Nature during the Fall and Thanksgiving
When I stumbled upon this picturesque scene it seemed straight out of a painting. A lone tree standing tall in a vast pasture, surrounded by the golden hues of fall. As I approached, the tranquility of the countryside enveloped me. It offered a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The solitary tree, adorned with fiery foliage, stood as a silent sentinel against the backdrop of rolling hills. It was almost as if it was whispering tales of seasons past. In that fleeting moment, amidst the crisp autumn air, I found solace in the simplicity of nature’s beauty. I did my best to capture the essence of fall in this quaint corner of East Texas with my camera lens.
